Health Radio

In 2002 I started working with the Health Services Support Program PNG as a Radio Adviser.   The focus of my job was to build the capacity of the PNG National Department of Health to communicate in order to better the delivery of health services to the people of PNG.

Specifically, I coordinated the installation of a National Health Radio Network.   The network is based on High Frequency (HF) radios located in 950 health facilities throughout PNG.   Part of the health network in Central Province includes the Kokoda Track network which I provide assistance to the Kokoda Track Authority to maintain.

I have selected the pictures   below as some of the highlights of the task.
